​Now in my 5th year of teaching and second at Greenway High School in Coleraine, MN. I've also worked at Buffalo High School in Buffalo, MN and Sartell HS in Sartell, MN. The vast majority of my experience has been as a classroom Social Studies teacher, but I have also spent one year as a Special Education (E/BD) Teacher. I coach Cross Country Running and Track & Field for the GNK Titans. I also serve as the Knowledge Bowl and Close Up trip advisors for Greenway High School.

I look forward to the years ahead at GHS with eager anticipation, knowing my colleagues and I are making important changes to our curriculum and instruction to usher in 21st Century learning in a style that rivals any other high school in Northern MN. As I plan for my small role in this process, my professional goal as an integrationist in 2012 is to help EVERY staff member grades 9-12 find and utilize at least one digital or technology based tool that will positively and meaningfully impact student engagement and learning within the upcoming year.
